CISCE, SHINAWATRA UNIVERSITY
CISCE (Shinawatra University’s Centre for International Studies and Continuing Education) was established on 18th July 2014 as a delivery service unit. CISCE has a wide-ranging and eclectic brief, which includes attracting students from inside and outside Thailand to SIU’s roll, arranging professional and vocational training courses, recommending credit awards for prior learning, enhancing SIU's international associations and raising SIU’s profile within Thailand, ASEAN and globally. CISCE's Director
CISCE (SIU) is headed by Mr Andrew Elliott, a Lecturer at SIU’s School of Liberal Arts. Andrew holds degrees in Modern History and Linguistics / Education from the universities of Oxford and Cambridge (UK) respectively. He has worked in various educational fields in Thailand since 1999 and has experience of co-ordinating educational projects here with a range of parties which include over 40 universities, the Ministry of Education, the Office of the Higher Education Commission, the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment, the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare , the International Schools’ Association of Thailand and the Royal Thai Police.
